One of the major objectives of the Montana Bankers Association is to identify the educational needs of bankers within Montana.  This process is organized by banker committees and MBA staff members.  Conferences and Workshops on critical topics are offered on a regular basis.

Seminars

MBA offers IRA and New Accounts seminars on an annual basis.  Typically, IRA Basics and New Accounts are in the spring.  IRA Update is in the fall.  Please look to our calendar for dates and times.

Conferences

MBA provides multi day conferences for specific banking needs, for example, our Ag Banker conference is held in March.  We offer BSA/AML along with Deposit Compliance in May, and in the fall, we have a Security Conference consecutive to our Lending Compliance in September.  We are looking to add to our conferences, with the possibility of renewing a Commercial Banking Conference so please stay tuned.
